Warranty & Durability

Do You Know About Your Mattress Warranty?

Do You Know What Your Saleperson means by "Acceptable Wear and Tear"?

The Intelli-Gel® Advanced Cushioning Material has been thoroughly performance tested and should outlast any traditional material. We are pleased to offer a 20-year warranty on our top of the line IntelliBED® mattresses against manufacturer defects with 10 years of full replacement value and the second 10 years prorated (when used on a non-adjustable base; see written warranty for details).

The following tests show that even the best standard mattress materials wear out over time (like your car tires) while the IntelliBED® stays almost like new (4% softer) for the life of the bed.

The Cornell Test

The Cornell Testing Machine subjects a mattress to a cyclic loading of 230 lbs. from a buttock-shaped plunger. The test is 100,000 cycles and its loading is quite similar to those in the actual life of a set of bedding.

The Rollator Test

The Rollator Test consists of a 230 lb. 6-sided roller rolling across the width of a set of bedding for 100,000 cycles (200,000 passes). This test simulated real life wear on a bedding set.
